Writing with AI

Cadensiq can draft your campaign email for you. You describe your offer and the outcome you want in plain English on the Outreach Objective step; on the Email & Personalization step the writing assistant turns that brief into an editable draft: one polished email for an announcement, or a first email plus two follow-ups for a sequence. Nothing is ever sent from a draft, and every word stays editable.

Using the assistant is optional. You can start from a saved template or write everything yourself.

Who can use this

Owners and managers, while the workspace has AI credits available.

Before you start

  • Choose the sender and audience first (steps 1 and 2). The assistant uses your audience's available personalization fields.
  • Check your remaining credits: the assistant shows, for example, 8 AI credits left today. See Plans and credits.

Key concepts

Three ways to start

On How would you like to start your email? you see three cards:

Card What it does Uses credits?
Describe your objective Write a brief; then draft the email with the assistant on the next step. Only when you draft
Choose from Library Pick a saved template or reuse the sequence of a past campaign. No
Start from Scratch Open a blank three-step sequence and write it yourself. No

Once you've chosen, the other two options stay on the right so you can switch. If switching would replace content you've already written, Cadensiq asks you to confirm first.

What the assistant sees, and what stays private

Open What AI uses on the assistant panel to see the exact context.

Sent to the writing assistant Never sent
Your objective (the campaign brief) Individual lead rows
Your business context (organization name, offer, tagline) Recipient email addresses
The audience description you typed Private notes
Reference links you added Mailbox credentials
The names of the personalization fields your audience has, and how many recipients have them Suppression details (who unsubscribed or bounced)

Recipient details are filled in later, when Cadensiq prepares each message from your audience.

Credits

  • One draft of a whole sequence (up to three steps, and possibly several options) uses one credit.
  • Reviewing, editing, saving, reusing and applying drafts are free.
  • If a draft fails, the credit is returned.

How to write the brief

  1. On Outreach Objective, select Add objective on Describe your objective.
  2. In Outreach Objective / Brief, describe your offer, who it's for, their challenge and the next step you want. Rough notes or bullet points work well. Select See Example for a model brief.
  3. Optional fields:
    • Target Audience (Optional): tailors tone and terminology, for example operations managers at small logistics companies.
    • Business Tagline (Optional): filled from your organization profile.
    • Portfolio / Case Study Links (Optional): relevant proof the email can point to.
  4. Optional: select Improve brief to open Tidy up your brief, which turns rough notes into a structured brief using a ready-made structure. Choose a tone (Teardown & Audit, Executive & Direct, Proof & Case Study or Conversational), check the result, then select Use this brief. This does not use AI or credits.
  5. Select Continue to email.

How to draft with the assistant

  1. On Email & Personalization, find Draft the full sequence with Cadensiq (or Draft the announcement with Cadensiq).
  2. Select Draft with AI. A progress panel explains what's happening. If it takes longer than usual you can leave the page; the draft keeps going and is waiting when you return.
  3. When Your AI drafts are ready, select Review sequence drafts (or Review announcement drafts).
  4. Review each option. You can edit the Subject, Preheader, Email body and Call to action step by step. Saving an edit creates a new draft version and is free.
  5. Select Apply all sequences (or Apply this email for an announcement). The subject, preheader and body are written into the editor, where you can keep editing.
  6. Not happy? Select Regenerate draft (uses one credit).

Note

Drafting never replaces your work silently. Nothing changes in the editor until you choose to apply a draft.

How to reuse an earlier draft

  1. Open Saved AI drafts on the assistant panel.
  2. Filter by creator if you like. Drafts are labelled This campaign or Another campaign, with who created them and when.
  3. Select a draft, review it and apply it. Reusing a draft is free.

Saved drafts are shared across your workspace; they are never visible to other organizations.

Rules to know

  • When the daily credits are used up, Draft with AI is unavailable until the next day (or until the monthly allowance allows). You can still write, edit, use templates and reuse saved drafts.
  • An announcement draft always contains exactly one email; a sequence draft contains a first email and distinct follow-ups.
  • The assistant uses only the context you gave it. Read the draft as your recipient would, and check any claim, number or link before you launch.

What happens next

The applied draft becomes your campaign content. Continue editing, add personalization and preview it. See Email and personalization.
