Deliverability checklist

Deliverability is whether your email lands in the inbox rather than the spam folder or nowhere at all. Cadensiq enforces the basics (authentication checks, pacing, limits, suppression, automatic safety pauses), but your habits matter just as much. Use this checklist before each new campaign and when you add a mailbox.

Before the first send

  • [ ] The mailbox shows Ready to send: ownership, MX, a single SPF record, DMARC, DKIM DNS and Real-message authentication all Passed. See Sending domains.
  • [ ] Track replies and bounces is on, so replies stop follow-ups and bounces are suppressed.
  • [ ] A test email (Send test) arrived in your inbox, not spam.
  • [ ] The Daily sending limit on a new mailbox is modest. Increase gradually over several weeks.
  • [ ] The owner has reviewed Settings → Safety & delivery and kept Automatic safety pause on.

Your list

  • [ ] Leads come from a source you trust and are relevant to your offer.
  • [ ] You imported into a list and fixed every row that needed attention.
  • [ ] You didn't try to re-add people who unsubscribed or bounced. Cadensiq keeps them suppressed anyway.
  • [ ] Old lists have been checked recently. Out-of-date addresses bounce.

Your message

  • [ ] The subject is short, specific and honest.
  • [ ] The first line is about the recipient, not about you.
  • [ ] Personalization is accurate: a few correct details beat many generic variables. Fallbacks are set for missing fields.
  • [ ] One clear call to action. Few links, all to your own trusted domains.
  • [ ] Consider Plain text for first-touch cold emails; it reads like a personal note.
  • [ ] You checked the prepared message for several real recipients in the Recipient personalization inspector.

Your schedule

  • [ ] Sending days and window match the recipients' working hours in the Campaign timezone.
  • [ ] Pacing jitter is left on so sends are spread out.
  • [ ] Large audiences are split across several days by the daily limit, rather than raising limits sharply.

While it's sending

  • [ ] Check the mailbox's Mailbox health card daily: Provider errors and bounce rate.
  • [ ] Answer replies promptly from the Inbox. Engagement helps your reputation.
  • [ ] If a mailbox is Paused for safety, don't rush to resume. Follow Mailbox recovery.
  • [ ] Judge results by replies and positive replies, not opens. Open tracking is approximate.
