Campaigns¶
A campaign is one piece of outreach: who sends it, who receives it, what it says and when it goes out. Cadensiq guides you through a step-by-step wizard, prepares the exact personalized message for every recipient so you can review them, and only then sends them at a safe, steady pace from your own mailbox.
Who can use this¶
Everyone in the workspace can open Campaigns and review them. Owners and managers create, edit, launch, pause and archive campaigns, and look after the mailboxes that campaigns send from.
Before you start¶
- A mailbox that is Ready to send. See Mailboxes and Sending domains.
- A lead list with at least one eligible lead.
Key concepts¶
Sequence or announcement¶
On the first step you choose a Sending approach:
| Approach | What recipients get |
|---|---|
| Personalized sequence | A first email plus follow-ups on your schedule (for example day 1, day 4, day 8). A recipient who replies, bounces or unsubscribes gets no further follow-ups. |
| One-time announcement | Exactly one email per recipient. No follow-ups. |
The wizard¶
The progress bar at the top shows six steps:
| Step | What you do | Page |
|---|---|---|
| Sender & Identity | Name the campaign, choose the sending mailbox and the sending approach | Below |
| Audience | Choose one or more lead lists | Audience |
| Outreach Objective | Describe your offer, or start from the library or from scratch | Writing with AI |
| Email & Personalization | Write or draft the emails, add personalization, preview | Email and personalization |
| Schedule | Days, sending window, timezone, launch time, pacing | Review and launch |
| Review & Launch | Inspect each recipient's message, send a test, launch | Review and launch |
Campaign lifecycle¶
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Draft | Being set up. Nothing is prepared or sent. |
| Preparing | Cadensiq is building each recipient's message. |
| Ready for review | Messages are prepared; review and launch them. |
| Scheduled | Approved and waiting for its launch time. |
| Sending | Messages are going out within the sending window. |
| Paused | Sending stopped by you or by a mailbox safety hold. Queued messages wait safely. |
| Completed | Every message reached a final outcome. |
| Archived | Hidden from the default list. |
How to start a campaign¶
- Open Campaigns and select New Campaign.
- On Sender & Identity:
- Campaign Name: an internal label, for example Sample company — spring outreach.
- Sender Mailbox: choose a connected mailbox. The Mailbox Health panel on the right shows its status, protocol and daily quota.
- Sending approach: Personalized sequence or One-time announcement.
- Select Next: Audience and continue through the steps.
How to save and come back later¶
- Cadensiq saves your progress as you work; the top bar shows Saving…, Saved or Save failed.
- Select Save Draft (or Save Changes when editing) at the top to save and open the campaign details without launching.
- If you leave with unsaved changes, a dialog offers Save draft & exit, Discard changes or Keep editing.
- Open a draft from Campaigns to continue where you stopped.
How to manage campaigns from the list¶
On Campaigns, search by name or brief and filter by Status. Each campaign card has a menu:
| Action | When |
|---|---|
| View details | Always |
| Edit campaign / Edit before approval | Draft or ready for review |
| Launch, Pause, Resume | Depending on the current status |
| Archive campaign | Any campaign that isn't archived. Archiving stops any active sending and cancels scheduled messages. |
| Duplicate as draft | Completed or archived campaigns |
| Restore | Archived campaigns: brings it back as a draft |
Duplicate a campaign¶
Duplicate as draft creates a fresh draft with the same content, design, audience lists, sender and pacing. It starts with a clean slate: no prepared messages, approvals, results or engagement. The audience is re-checked, so anyone who unsubscribed or bounced since is excluded.
Rules to know¶
- A campaign sends only from a mailbox that is Ready to send.
- Changing the content, design, sending format or audience of a prepared campaign returns it to Draft and the messages are prepared again. Approved messages are never rewritten.
- Approved messages are sent exactly as you reviewed them. Cadensiq does not re-personalize or rewrite them during sending.
- Your plan's monthly sending allowance, the campaign's daily limit and each mailbox's daily limit all apply. Messages beyond a limit wait for the next eligible window.
What happens next¶
- You receive notifications when preparation is ready or fails, when the campaign starts, as each sequence step finishes, and when the campaign completes.
- Replies arrive in the Inbox and on the campaign's Replies tab. See Campaign monitoring.
